What’s the big fuss about a fashion show, you ask? I had my little Anna Wintour moment and I must say it was quite exciting!
From the sexy Priyanka Chopra on the invite to the beautiful & inspirational collection of designers like Nida Mahmood, Raghavendra Rathore, Ashish N Soni & Wendell Rodricks to oh-so-perfect models to the hot showstopper, Kunal Kapoor. Everything was just stylish!
I simply loved the bright colors and the beautiful cuts of the clothes. There were some clear trends one could see on the ramp and as I promise to bring to my readers all things stylish & fashionable. Lets have a look at those trends.
1. Oversized dresses (Kaftan Style)
It was interesting to see how flowy kaftan dresses were designed with a skinny belt complimenting them. The key was the nice fabric with bright colors.
2. Dip-dyed Shirts
The dip-dyed shirts for men actually looked different and stylish. I actually wouldn’t mind trying one of these myself
3. Layering
We have spoken about Layering so often on Style Inked and Ashish N Soni’s collection sported a lot of this. My post on this here.
4. Color-blocking

Wendell Rodricks had color blocked outfits in both Indian & western styles. It was an absolute delight to see the colors play.
The highlight of the show was Kunal Kapoor wearing an ethnic Kurta from Raghavendra Rathore’s collection.

Here are few more pics for all of you from the Blenders Pride Fashion Tour 2012. What do you think of the new trends? Would love to hear from you!
