‘Pretty’ Messy Look

Sometimes throwing your hair up can be better than “letting your hair down”!

While I was at the Sunday Soul Sante this Sunday showcasing my first collection, I realized that a day long affair can get very tiring and sweaty. What caught my eyes was the way lot of people had thrown their hair up and that effortless casual look was really appropriate and attractive.

Here are a few pictures I captured.

Here are few tips before you try out this ‘pretty’ messy look:
# Hair need not be tied at the top, you can go for a bun on the side or down low for a different look.
# It is a must-try look for curly or wavy hair
# Flip your hair upside-down and gather it in your hands to increase your hair’s volume
# You have thin hair??? Brush the front of your hair down first, then from the middle of the hair  brush  backwards toward the roots gently; this adds volume to your hair
# Run your fingers through the front of your hair to loosen it from the elastic and add texture.

I actually love that messy, effortless kind of look, you know, when you actually pair it with neat chic clothing, and not just some random tshirt from the top of your shelf and jeans.
