I have been interested in style since I first saw my mom design & stitch a pretty suit for herself. The fact that you can actually pick the color of your dress and make it the way you want was a new concept for me. And I must admit, I was extremely fascinated by this idea!
I am sure all of you will agree with me when I say that clothes do more than just covering up our bodies-Right? We spend time in selecting the right clothes that reflect our personalities, our moods, our ambitions and our desires.
So what are the other points that I keep in mind before buying a new piece of clothing for myself?
1. Color
2. Fabric
3. Design
4. Versatility
5. Price
Not in that order of course! Sometimes you let go of the price as you have been looking for that color & design for a really long time. Sometimes you pick that lovely dress only because that color goes very well with your brand new stilettos. Sometimes you don’t buy that Blue & Grey top as you don’t think it’s versatile enough to go with most of your skirts/shorts/denims. It is generally very difficult to find the right balance between all these factors.
I have been designing my own clothes for years and I feel now is the time to share my passion with others.
So the GOOD NEWS is that Style Inked is coming up with its first collection and I have tried to make something beautiful out of the most amazing fabrics at a very appropriate price!
