Announcing My First Collection!

I’m extremely excited to announce my first collection. I’ve designed, created, philosophized  over, pondered about and put together a collection of 120 tops. They are hep, jazzy, stylish and sassy.

I’ll be selling my tops at in Bangalore. And I’m sharing with you in this post the elements of my Style that make the collection fantastic.

Quirky

My style aims for elegance with a quirky twist. You can clearly see it in my collection. I have made some interesting stylistic editing to the tops. A simple geometric print pocket changes the entire personality of the above top. I create designs I would wear.

Ethnic Inspirations

I find Indian work very aesthetically appealing and a lot of my designs have such embroidery on western silhouettes. Primarily inspired by the locales of my travel, you can see shades of  Lucknow, Jaipur, Jammu in my collection.  Above I have mixed embroidery with  stripes giving it an Indo-western look.

Rich Rich Fabric

Fabric makes or breaks a nice design. Being a fan of rich & pure fabrics, all the tops from my collection are made up of  Silk, Georgette, Chiffon, Crape & Cotton. I especially have used flowy fabrics like Crape, Chiffon and Georgette that swirls along with your movement and have a very feminine feel.  No stiff fabrics in my collection.

 Making Sheer wearable

Sheer (See through fabric) has always looked extremely sexy on the runways but I feel that it has still not been well translated into wearable fashion. In my collection there are a lot of peek-a-boo tops which are designed keeping in mind that they are fashion forward yet real world friendly. As shown above, I have played with the pattern with a hint of sheer just a few inches below your shoulder and the arms making it comfortably sexy. You can wear it with a bright skirt for an evening party or just sport it with your denims for a casual look.

 Colors to complete your wardrobe

You will see a plethora of colors in my collection with very trendy ones like Coral, Mint ,Rust, Oxblood etc. The idea is to not limit ourselves to the basic neutrals or primary colors. I’ve struggled to gather a great mix of intense and muted colors.статьи копирайтинг
