If you follow me on , you already know that I was in Singapore last week. And boy, the days flew like magic. From going on the Mummy ride a zillion times in Universal Studios to watching the beautiful jelly fish move with panache in SEA Aquarium  to buying a shoe for $3  (Oh yes! I did manage that 🙂 ),what an experience it was! Talking about shopping, no matter what your budget, age or style is , Singapore is just the place to be. Whether its the high end fashion names like Chanel, Jimmy Choo, Louis Vuitton or fast fashion  brands like Topshop, H&M, Forever21 (being from Bangalore I do not have access to THEM :/ ),Singapore has got it all.

But this post is more about the 3 trends I totally enjoyed beating the heat in Singapore.

Statement earrings : While Singapore heat can sometimes get to you, I actually did avoid wearing a lot of accessories and hence the statement earrings were a good replacement to a necklace or bracelets to avoid a sticky feeling and yet add that edge to your outfit.

Laser-cut Shoes:  The intricate laser cut detail of shoes adds a splash of pizazz to any ensemble, and make a simple outfit come to life. So while I was all comfortable in my loafers with ventilation through the gaps.

Mirror Prints: Now this is my latest print crush- Mirror prints! While mirror print is trending on a variety of clothes, like pencil skirts, button-down blouses, and floaty dresses, my favourite is a straight fitted dress I recently bought from warehouse. The super-symmetrical prints tend to be attention-grabbers, and therefore can be paired with basic, solid-hued items and minimum accessories for day-to-day wear.

While I was walking through China town in Singapore, I realized I was wearing all of my current favorite pieces hence I shot a few pics to show you how I styled it.

Special mention – the beautiful earrings are from , (Available in Bangalore @  Neon). Who would have thought one can fuse glass and make such beautiful pieces of jewelry. Art & Jewelry, isn’t it the best of both worlds? I love their pieces as each one of them are unique and quirky!
