If you cook your meals yourself then , its true that Breakfast can certainly take the cake for being the most annoying meal of the day.
Am I right?
The problem is who has time for breakfast?
Therefore I try to resort to breakfast that takes 5 minutes or less. I recently posted a picture on Instagram of my Breakfast and got a lot of requests asking for the recipe . So continuing the Healthy Bites series with this quick 5 minute breakfast recipe- Banana Yogurt Parfait
- 8 Tablespoons oats
- 1 tbs maple syrup
- 3/4 cup plain low-fat yogurt
- 1 banana, sliced
- 1/2 tsp black sesame seeds
- 80g assorted nuts
1. Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Combine oats and maple syrup; add oat mixture to pan, and cook 2 to 3 minutes.
2. Top yogurt with banana slices, toasted oats, nuts & sesame seeds. And Voila! Its ready 🙂
