Smokey eyes have been doing the rounds from the fashion editorials, runways to the red carpet. And rightly so! There is something very mesmerizing about those smoldering dark eyes that make a statement. I have been experimenting a lot with different styles of Smokey eyes from dark & edgy to less severe & softened neutral shades. Recently I tried the blue Smokey eyes and loved the result.
You need to believe me when I say that it’s a myth that it’s very difficult to get the Smokey eyes style right. Getting the perfect smokey eyes takes only a few minutes and it’s so simple to do. Well if you don’t believe me, then follow the 6 easy steps and try it out yourself
- Prep your eyes with a concealer or use an eyelid primer.
- I like to use my finger as I feel I get a more uniformed look but you can also use a fluff brush.
- Add a texture just at the crease of your eyelid . This is to define your eye better and add depth. I have used Saddle from MAC.
- Mark your eye with a black eye liner pencil or gel eye liner.
- Add the blue eye-shadow in the middle of the eye and smudge it with a smudging brush moving outwards.
- Apply a liner at the lower eye lash and smudge it from the outer end moving towards the middle of the lower eye lash. You can finish the look with a mascara and you are done. 🙂Let me know what you think of the post, connect with me on or
